This is passenger side between the core plugs. i was under the impression that this particular block casting 3970010 was some how stonger than other blocks high nickel or not. most of the casting number index sites show this number as "Heavy duty truck block hi perf ECT" they both came from circle track cars there must be some reason they were prefered not just for the nickel and tin content. am i incorrect.
